At Smoke Creek Quarter Horses we know success is only as strong as the team.  We fully appreciate our team that keep our horses sound, trained and ready for competition.  This includes our veterinarians, dentists, farriers and ranch mangers. Bill Kennedy is the visionary and glue of Smoke Creek Quarter Horses and he pushes us all to strive for excellence in everything we do. It is his passion and support that allows us all to follow our dreams.  He breeds only the top horses to increase our success in the competition pen.

Lora Alexander

Lora Alexander started riding horses at 3 years old. Growing up, she had always owned a green horse who would help to train herself, with the help and under the guidance of her father and uncle. She then attended Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, WY for their Equine Science program where she continued colt starting. After college she took an internship with Bogie Webb at Webb Ranches where she won his annual Colt Starting Competition. She was then hired at Webb Ranches and learned a great amount more about everything that deals horse, and continued improving her horsemanship. She believes timing and feel are two very important skills to have when riding and working with colts, and she loves seeing the colts learn from day to day.
